What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Information I May Collect
An important distinction must be made between my users and customers. The term “customers” refers to those individuals who have any paid marketing, advertisements, or enhanced content. “Users” include all other visitors to this site. This site automatically collects IP addresses and aggregates information on what web pages my visitors use, the frequency and length of their visits, referral data (e.g. the internet address of the last web page visited by a user before proceeding to this site), and other general information that may be used to evaluate and improve my web site. I collect no personally identifiable information from anyone except paying customers, users who voluntarily register to use features or services I provide, and users who choose to initiate contact with me. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is any information that can be used to identify you, such as your name, address, phone number, web address, etc.
If you choose to communicate with me over the internet, I may request that you provide personally identifiable information necessary for me to process your request for information, respond to your questions, or deliver a product or service. The information you send me via email or through one of my internet services requiring an ID and password may be shared with my employees who require this information to respond to your request and as permitted by law. I may retain this information as deemed necessary.
Where I Store This Information
How I May Use This Information
Information collected when you respond to surveys and promotions on my web site will be used in my continuous quality improvement process to improve my information and services. I may inform you of new products and services from this site or my affiliates based on the information you provide me. Information collected when you seek technical or billing support for this site is used only to the extent necessary to resolve your issue. All other information you submit or that which is automatically collected by this site is for internal use only, with the notable exception of that data provided by paying customers for display in my public listings.
For additional privacy and to help curb spam, contact email addresses of any registered customers may be hidden from my users. As with any electronic means of communication, there exists a possibility that emails may be intercepted, forwarded, or altered without authorization or detection. This site can not and does not guarantee the confidentiality of internet communications although there is no evidence to suggest that current security measures are insufficient.
